49.3 Secondes

A browser-first Unity arcade game: 49.3 seconds, a regenerated city, and a race for the best score. French interface, keyboard and mouse controls, local scores, and desktop builds for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus native iPhone/iPad and mobile browser controls.

Play with ZQSD / WASD / arrow keys, aim with the mouse, use the tonfa with left click, the LBD with right click, and grenades with Space. Escape pauses. Each protester counts once. The city starts with 80 protesters and replenishes that population, with a pool cap of 120 and at most three mortar users.

On mobile, play in landscape. Move with the left joystick, hold the tonfa button to repeat swings, select LBD or grenade, then hold the world to preview and release to fire. Release over UI to cancel. The policeman faces movement and briefly faces special attacks. Android supports the touch Web build and an optional release-signed APK; see RELEASING.md.

Development

Use Unity 6000.3.26f1. This public source repository excludes licensed vendor art and generated derivatives. Restore the packs and generate the scene using the asset setup instructions, then open Assets/49Seconds/Scenes/49Secondes.unity.

Runtime, editor tooling and tests are under Assets/49Seconds. Numerical tuning lives in Assets/49Seconds/Config/Game.asset. Vendor originals remain untouched.

Release

./scripts/release.sh 0.3.0 --upload-testflight

The script tests and builds Web, Windows, universal macOS, Linux and an iOS archive; signs/notarizes the macOS app and DMG; publishes Forgejo desktop downloads; and builds/tests/pushes an amd64 + arm64 Web image with Apple's container CLI. See release setup and operation.
